Feral cats

A feral cat is one that has become separated from a domestic environment – whether through abandonment, being lost, or running away – and begun to live unassisted in the wild. Feral cats usually cannot be re-socialized. Feral kittens can, however, be socialized to live with humans as long as they are taken from a feral colony before they are five weeks old.
