Mobile slaughter

Mobile slaughter is an alternative method that helps to avoid transportation stress in slaughter animals. It is sometimes associated with problems of hygiene, worker-security and waste-deposit, but it can deliver improvements in both animal welfare and meat quality. The slightly higher costs it involves may be acceptable in welfare-conscious, high-quality niche markets.
